Feb.1 My Hero Kobe Bryant

My hero is Kobe Bryant because I wanted to get good at basketball and I thought ” Maybe I should find a basketball player and copy his moves.” I couldn’t copy his dunks though because he is one of the best high-flyer in the NBA. Kobe Bryant plays for the Los Angeles Lakers. He is an American basketball player who plays shooting guard. Kobe Bryant enjoyed his successful career at Lower Merion High School. He was selected in the 13th overall pick in the 1996 NBA Draft by the Charlotte Hornets, then traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. He was born on August.23 1978. As a rookie, Kobe Bryant earned himself a reputation as a high-flyer and a fan favourite by winning the 1997 Slam Dunk Contest in the NBA All-Star Weekend. Kobe Bryant’s number is 24 and it used to be 8. Kobe Bryant set a Madison Square Garden record with 61 points. And that is why Kobe Bryant is my hero.

The Tales Of Cookie Man – Journal Jan.4

One day a little boy was eating a cookie and it fell of his plate, and the cookie ran away. The little boy wanted his cookie so he followed the cookie crumb tracks. The boy was running so fast that he fell and chipped his tooth so he cried and ran away to his mommy. The cookie was sad but at that moment for some reason he turned huge. he was Cookie Man his nickname was Cookie Crumb. He met his arch-enemy his name was Dr. Peanut Butter Cookie. They got in a fight because Dr. Peanut Butter Cookie shoved up peanut butter up Cookie Crumb’s nose so he couldn’t breathe. then cookie crumb threw a cookie crumb the size of a flee at Dr. Peanut butter cookie screamed “Ow!” and died. Cookie crumb said “I  need more raisins” sorry I forgot to tell you he was a raisin cookie.

 

 

 

The Tales Of Beaver Man!- Journal Jan.11

One day a beaver was chewing on a piece of wood. He loved his piece of wood. But then all his friends laughed at him. He got so angry he threw his piece of wood away and became a man. His muscles were so big the other beavers were very scared. His nickname was Buck Tooth. His powers were saber tooth it could grind trough wood so easy. His other power was waffle tail he could cook waffles on his tail and his enemy’s. One day he met his arch-enemy professor Chin-Chin. He wanted to destroy a crumb but he couldn’t. Buck Tooth made him faint in a flash. All the Beavers laughed at Buck Tooth because the other beavers wore feathers.

The Tales Of Cow Man!

One very sunny day in winter a farmer went to milk his cows. A farmer went to the first cow then got the milk, he went to the second cow and all of a sudden the cow ran away to New York. The cow was very tired so he had to go to sleep. Except he couldn’t as there was too much noise. So he tried to moo, but he couldn’t.  He did a very loud moo. In fact, it was a super power. He noticed that he was a super hero. His powers were amazing. One of his powers is milk extinguisher it could squirt some milk at anybody especially people who can’t have dairy. Cow Man was very lonely so he went to look in a window and people were opening presents. A few minutes later he realized that it was Christmas, so he ran back to his home and on the way he thought that the other cows were getting presents. So he ran even faster and by the time he got home it only took 30 minutes because he is a super hero. When he got there the farmer was giving them milk. That is all Cow Man ever wanted for Christmas. Cow Man’s present to the farmer was love. Merry Christmas everybody!

The Suspicious Granny

One Halloween my friends and I were going trick-or-treating in our neighbourhood. Down the street from us was an old deserted house that everyone thought was haunted. My mother said “Don’t you dare go near that house!” Naturally, her warning made us even more curious. We went to the house and rang the bell. There was no answer. We tried to open the door. It was unlocked, so we entered the house. The door slammed behind us and an old lady was sitting in a rocking chair and said “Want some tea?” At that moment that happened they were shocked. They slowly walked toward the couch suspiciously and carefully, at the same time.

The lady said “Have a seat.”. Then they sat down. They asked if they could watch TV and she said yes. They asked if they could stay at the house and she said yes.

They yelled out “Hallelujah.”

The lady said “I will raise you.”

Then they said, ” Oh good that’s a relief, because we were going to get grounded.”

“Actually I am not going to raise you,  you’re too mean” said the lady.

“Fine” they said. Then for some reason the day after they went trick-or-treating they were cavemen just like Fred Finstone

The Black Eyed Peas

The Black Eyed Peas are are my 1st favourite band.The songs I know by them are Don’t Stop The Party, Just Can’t Get Enough, The Time, Rock That Body and I Have A Feeling  I only know 2 of their names though. One of them are Fergie one of them is William.I was going to go to their concert in Vancouver but I had to go to Courtney. I don’t know how many concerts they’ve had but I know that they have had quite a few.They are very famous.

Rugby

I first discovered rugby when I was about 6. Rugby is a very cool sport my favourite team is Haka. It is sort of like football but you cant pass forward. But you can pass sideways and backwards.There is something like a faceoff in rugby.The referee calls out pause, touch and engage. When the referee calls out engage everybody starts pushing against each other until one of the teams gets the ball. When one of the teams gets the ball they keep passing until they get a touchdown! I think there is 5 positions in rugby. One of them is center, another one is a kicker, one quarterback and 2 wings.

My Favourite Hockey Player

My favourite hockey player is Jarome Iginla. Jarome Iginla’s'  number 12 and 12 was one of my numbers in hockey. He is right handed and his position is right wing. The team that he is on is the Calgary Flames. He is the captain of the Calgary Flames. In 2003-2004 Jarome Iginla led his team to the Stanley Cup. In 2007-2008 he scored 1000 points. I think he started playing in the NHL in about the year 2000.

He was born on July 1st 1977. Jarome Iginla first team that he was on was the Dallas stars. His national team is Canada. He is 6 foot 1 (1.85m) and 207lb’s. Jarome Iginla was  picked on the Dallas Stars in t in he 11th overall 1995.Calgary Flames are my favourite team. His father was a lawyer in Jarome’s early life. At first Jarome Iginla played baseball on the national junior team and his position was a catcher. Jarome Iginla dads name is Elvis and his moms is Susan. Jarome Iginla first grew up with his grandparents. Jarome Iginla donates $2000 to charity for every goal he scores. Jarome Iginla was the first person of colour  that was captain. I would really like to meet Jarome Iginla.

The Tales Of Flubber Dubber!

There once was a man named Flubber Dubber. He was green and rubbery but more like jello.

But a few years later he had super powers and he could stand! So he decided he should be a super hero.One of his powers were stretch-o-matic it could stretch and wrap around somebody and they would fly away. Once he did it and the enemy flew 2 miles away.

Anyways one day he had a arch enemy his name was Dt.Gibber Dibber his plan was to destroy the world.Flubber Dubber was angry! So he went in the squigmobile to see what he was doing.Surprisingly, he was eating a burger at McDonalds.So Flubber Dubber snuk in and ate chicken nuggets to get his energy up.

Suddenly everybody heard a voice and it was Flubber Dubber’s he said ”howdy partner’ oh and sorry I forgot to tell you he was western.
